Magnets (UK) Ltd. was formed in 1980, with the sole purpose of supplying various types of magnets to large volume users, in different industries. This aim was achieved very successfully.

In the early 1990's the company diversified into DIY hardware for pre-packers and furniture fittings for distributors and large volume manufacturers.

Magnets (UK) Ltd. have exhibited regularly at various International trade exhibitions over the past decade, gaining access to important export markets. Magnets (UK) Ltd. supply customers in Europe, America, Middle East and Australia.

In 1995 Magnets (UK) Ltd. moved to their current address, which is a purpose built office and warehouse unit, contained on a
3 acre / 12,000sq. Metre site.

The office has a state of the art information technology and telephone infrastructure to ensure a rapid response time to all customers enquires and placed orders.

In 2000 the division called covermounts appointed Michelle Paydon to focus on the increasing demand by Magazine Publishers for covermounts.

In 2001 Magnets (UK) Ltd. opened a representative office in China. Products can now be produced, handled, quality inspected and shipped by the local Magnets team. This guarantees innovative, quality products, delivered from a reliable source.

In 2004 Magnets (UK) Ltd. acquired the trademark PLASTIDOME™.This brand will be extended in the future.

In 2005 Magnets (UK) Ltd. created a brand new website, to enable their complete product range to be viewed on line.

Magnets (UK) Ltd. offers a wide range of Hardware products and Handles targeted at the DIY market, to both distributors and
pre-packers, as well as an in depth offering of Components and Handles in Contemporary, Modern and Transitional styles supporting the OEM Furniture Manufacturing Industry, in addition to offering innovative ideas and products to Magazine Publishers for covermounts.
